Carol Buchert, MT(ASCP)

Vice President of Operations and Sales/Marketing

Carol Buchert joined BioE in 1996 as director of quality assurance and control and technical support, and was promoted to vice president of manufacturing and regulatory affairs in 1999. Buchert currently serves as BioE's vice president of operations and sales/marketing. Buchert has more than 18 years of senior-level management experience encompassing clinical diagnostics, quality assurance and control, regulatory affairs, and manufacturing. Previously, she was the supervisor of Elmhurst Memorial Hospital's (Elmhurst, Ill.) Clinical Diagnostic Immunology and Flow Cytometry laboratories. Prior to this position, Buchert was a medical technologist within the Michael Reese Medical Center's (Chicago) Clinical Diagnostic Immunology, Flow Cytometry and Serology laboratory and the clinical chemistry laboratory at Humana Hospital in Hoffman Estates, Ill. She holds a bachelor of science degree in medical technology from Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, Ill. Additionally, Buchert is certified by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists, and is a member of the American Society of Clinical Pathologists, the American Association of Blood Banks and the Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society.
